Leather, one of the most virtuous examples of circularity

Biodegradable and renewable, leather is one of the most virtuous examples of circularity. Leather is a byproduct of the food supply chain that is refined through production processes, avoiding its disposal to create new products. What is meant by "leather". Let's clarify. The term "leather" is defined by a standard (ISO 15115:2019) that specifies its specific characteristics. The most important is that the material must be of animal origin, otherwise it cannot be considered leather.
